ALFREDO GURROLA

Alfredo Gurrola is a Mexican artist and filmmaker with a career spanning over 70 projects in film and television. His work as a painter provides an intriguing counterpoint to his work in motion pictures by focusing on surrealist objects and landscapes created on mixed media. The visual work presented here expresses a uniquely abstract vision, created through a variety of different techniques that continue to deepen Gurrola's relationship with the visual world. His paintings and drawings have been shown at the Jardín de Arte in Tepoztlán, Morelos, where he has been a featured artist for four years.
